Environmental Benefits

  • The environmental outcome (CO2 emissions) for the Project will be at a net zero level.

  • The company also has an exclusive Australia-wide agreement with the Belgium based Solvay Group (Brussels listed, €10bn market cap) with their Australian scientific laboratory based in the Latrobe University in Melbourne

    • ‒ Solvay have developed and proven an ‘inhibitor’ product in liquid form that negates the nitrous oxide emissions that occur when the urea granule breaks down. (1 unit nitrous oxide is equivalent to 310 units of CO2.)
    • The emissions reductions from this product will also offset emissions at the farmer use end.
  • Inhibitor product negates the release of nitrous oxide in the urea. The benefits are:

    1. Slow releasing fertiliser provides more efficient product without price increase for consumer
    2. Reduce CO2 emissions and carbon footprint.
  • Solvay was established in 1863 and operate in over 50 countries with more than 33,000 scientific and technical staff

The environmental outcome (CO2 emissions) for the Project will be at a net zero level.

This exclusive agreement will give the project
a significant commercial and
environmental advantage for both its
hydrogen and urea production in Australia.
